My Life 100(minus 49) THINGS TO DO LIST

On my way to work, I always listen to the Sports Junkies on WJFK 106.7 fm, and I remember one day they had the owner of the Capitals on for a interview. I believe the guys name is Ted Leonsis. He talked about the Capitals for a while and you know I was not interested in that. He talked about the Mystics...and damn near put me to sleep behind the wheel. Then he started to talk about his blog. Bingo...so my interest was sparked. To make a long story short he mentioned his 101 list of things to do before he left the earth. Now I saw the movie "The Bucket List" a while back and said that would be cool to create...but not until I actually visited his blog Ted's Take, and looked at his list My 101 List - The Story did I understand that this was not only a cool thing to do but it would take some time to create. Needless to say I have been working on my list. Although my list is not complete, I have managed to create a "start up" version. Check out my list and then challenge yourself to do the same. I plan on making my list a full 100 so my list will be updated. I will try to make this topic permanent link on the side of this here blog somewhere. Next thing I need to do is to figure out a way to make it a check list. Off subject I do remember him saying one thing in that blog that stood out to me and it wen something like this "chart out your goals and dreams and to always live your life on offense". Hopefully this motivates some of you to do that...but for now..here is my list.

AIG Executives vs American Idol

Sitting here watching American Idol and wondering how American Idol relates to the latest scandal to hit the US.  AIG.  AIG was once one of Americas most prominent international insurance and financial service organizations.  LOL.   You know I don't know anything about these folks but for real,  I can do math.  73 people received "RETENTION BONUSES" of at least 1 Million Dollars.  The top 10 folks receiving an average of 4.2 million.  Get this,  11 of the 73 folks didn't even work for AIG anymore....Now I know most of you say "what do we care how they spend their money...it ain't ours."  Think again, AIG accepted over 170 Billion in US bailout Funds.  You would think that our Government would have someone dedicated to AIG's EXECUTIVE BOARD since we gave them 170 billion.  Hell!  The government owns 80% of AIG's equity.  SO now what! I like the idea of one of the GOP Senators.  He suggested that they follow the Japanese model of shamed corporation executives.  Have AIG's executives come before the American people and take a deep bow and say I am sorry.  And then either Resign or Commit Suicide....ok..ok....Suicide is a little harsh.  Can't you see it now..... Reality TV at its best.  Let the American voters decide.  I can hear Ryan Seacrest say it now "If you want to vote for their resignation call 866 RESGNAIG. thats 1 866 7 3 7 4 6 2 4 4" and then Ryan saying "Executives it all comes down to this, your big moment, and the results are (drumroll) your results are that you will find out right after this commercial break".....LLS
